Brrr, it’s all chilly again, so whilst we’ll wrap up warm and hope the sun comes back again soon, we’re going to plan to do some of the fun indoor activities that are happening this weekend, because the weather is less depressing if you have things to do!

Children aged 5-11 must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is part of the Oxford University Museums ‘Reactions’ Festival, as well as the Siobhan Davies Dance 2014 programme of exhibitions and events exploring the dialogue between choreography and horticulture across the seasons.

The Ashmolean has plenty for families, with exciting galleries as well as trails to help you find interesting objects and themes.
The Ashmolean Family Friendly Activity Station is available at all times, close to the main entrance. Visit it for free gallery trails and sketching materials.
Or if you can bear to trek outside the city limits by a little way, the Oxfordshire Science Festival is taking place over the next couple of weeks in Abingdon and have lots of fun activities – a large number of which are free.
